All for community.

Community is at the core of Wests Group and the driving force behind everything we do. As a locally owned and operated, not-for-profit membership organisation, we believe in creating places where people can come together, feel a sense of belonging and contribute to a stronger region.

Wests proudly supports the ClubsNSW Your Local Club initiative, raising awareness of the important role community-based, not-for-profit clubs play across NSW. Collectively, clubs support more than 78,000 direct and indirect jobs, deliver more than 106,000 community and live entertainment activities, and donate over $120 million annually to charities and organisations through ClubGRANTS.

For Wests, that contribution starts close to home. Our investment is centered around five key areas: health, wellbeing, education, social inclusion and grassroots sport.

From our $2 million commitment to Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW and support for Lifeline, to creating opportunities for young people through the Career-Ready Program with the University of Newcastle and supporting women and families through our longstanding partnership with Jenny’s Place, we invest in initiatives that create meaningful and lasting local impact.

Sport is equally central to our story. Alongside our longstanding commitment to rugby league, Wests supports netball, cricket and grassroots participation, while investing in the facilities local sport needs to thrive. This includes a new Netball clubhouse and six resurfaced netball courts at New Lambton, supporting more than 500 players across 50 teams.

Together, these partnerships and investments reflect what being a community club means to us, bringing people together, creating opportunities and ensuring the success of Wests continues to benefit the people and places we proudly call home.
