As proud sponsors of The Western Suburbs Rugby League Football Club (WSRLFC), we firmly believe in the significance of our local junior development. The Rosellas' dedication to nurturing talent, excellence and spirit is one we hold with high regard.
This season, three out of four teams finished in the semi-finals. It was also the third consecutive year that the Women's Tackle Team competed in the Community League Competition. The successful premiership-winning team was also the Reserve Grade team. While the Under 19s team made it to the Grand Final but were narrowly defeated by Lakes United 14-11.
Our Knights NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg players added significant depth to the Rosellas First and Reserve Grade teams, following a rocky start to the season due to player departures in the off season. Ex-NRL and Super Leagues halfback, Luke Walsh, returned mid-season to provide crucial game management experience, and as a result, the First Grade team earned well-deserved victories.
We congratulate the Rosellas Club, including the coaches, support staff and committee members for their imperative role in the Club's overall success. The Wests Group looks forward to the promising season ahead and the further development of quality local Juniors.
