Hunter Melanoma Foundation
The Wests Group, through the NSW Government’s ClubGRANTS program, is proud to support the Hunter Melanoma Foundation (HMF) with a $15,000 donation to deliver community education initiatives across the Hunter region focused on prevention and early detection.
Melanoma remains one of the most common and serious cancers in Australia, yet it is also one of the most preventable. Through school visits, workplace presentations, and community awareness activities, HMF educates people of all ages about sun safety, the importance of regular skin checks, and recognising the early signs of melanoma.
This funding will support the expansion of HMF’s outreach across the region, helping more individuals and families access practical, evidence-based information to reduce risk and encourage early action. By strengthening awareness and prevention, HMF continues to play a vital role in improving long-term health outcomes within the community.
The Wests Group is proud to stand alongside the Hunter Melanoma Foundation in supporting education-led prevention and a healthier, sun-safe future.
