Bringing laughter where it's needed most
Our nib Newcastle Knights NRL players visited the John Hunter Hospital to see how our ClubGRANTs donation supports The Humour Foundation.
Their mission is simple: 'to enhance wellbeing, lift spirits and improve health through insightful connection, creative play and joyful humour.'
Meet warm faces, Dr. Nose Nothing and Dr. Nose Best who transform the hospital experience.
Mental Health Awareness Month
We proudly teamed up with several organisations to help us deliver a variety of initiatives to our workforce to support Mental Health Awareness Month in October.
Home away from home
The Wests Group ClubGRANTS program has generously donated $82,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities, facilitating the upgrade and refurbishment of accommodation units at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
Creating brighter futures
The Wests Group ClubGRANTS program has contributed over $135,000 since 2018 to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) for therapy equipment and playground refurbishment.
Lovin from the oven
Wests’ employees volunteered to support families with seriously ill children who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW by baking up some goodies to bring a little joy their day.
Soul Café in Newcastle offers home-cooked meals and a welcoming space for those in need. The Wests Group ClubGRANTS program provides an annual funding of $45,000 to sustain and support this vital service.
