A nurturing and secure environment
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) offers a comforting refuge to families facing the challenge of having a sick or injured child requiring extended care in hospital. By providing a nurturing and secure environment, the RMHC ensures families receive the necessary support during this difficult time.
Thanks to the Wests Group clubGRANTS program, a significant contribution of $82,000 was able to be made to RMHC. This funding has facilitated the upgrade and refurbishment of accommodation units at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital site. As of April 2024, the refurbishment project has reached completion, enabling a family to transition into their new temporary home away from home.
