Helping Vulnerable Individuals Navigate and Overcome Challenge
The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal is a lifeline for many in our community, funding essential social services that address local needs. Through our ClubGRANTs initiative, the Wests Group is proud to contribute $25,000 to support this vital cause.
The Red Shield Appeal Official Launch, a corporate luncheon, engages the Hunter’s business community to raise awareness and funds for these critical services. The funds raised through the appeal, including the luncheon, support a range of programs in the Hunter region. These include drug and alcohol rehabilitation, financial counselling, homelessness services, Oasis youth services, and community programs offering support, meals, and social connections.
Each of these services plays a crucial role in helping vulnerable individuals navigate and overcome significant challenges, providing pathways to counselling, employment, and crisis care. We are proud to support the Salvation Army’s efforts to empower individuals to live positive, fulfilling lives.
