Wests’ employees volunteered to support families with seriously ill children who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW by baking up some goodies to bring a little joy their day.
Throughout the year, Wests’ volunteers took to the kitchen to bake up a storm for families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW. This small gesture to create a meal helps to take a little bit of pressure on the daily routines to provide a little bit of relief for each family. Each visit directly impacts the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
Ronald McDonald Houses provide a homely and inviting place to stay for parents, guardians, carers and their siblings while their child is undergoing treatment in Northern NSW . The 18 houses provide essential care and support to those who have to travel far from home to receive medial care, only steps away from the hospital.
