Supporting Newcastle’s Most Vulnerable Through Soul Hub
Established in 2003, Soul Hub serves the poor, needy, and vulnerable in Newcastle. With a growing disadvantaged community, the need for its services has never been greater. In 2024 alone, Soul Hub provided 71,995 free meals and 7,979 grocery hampers to individuals facing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and more.
But Soul Hub’s mission goes beyond meal provision. It connects individuals with essential services, including substance abuse programs, accommodation links, social work, Centrelink referrals, laundry services, and free medical care. This comprehensive support helps guests work through challenges and reintegrate into society.
Through its ClubGRANTs initiative, Wests Group is proud to support Soul Hub with an $85,000 donation. This contribution will help continue providing meals and vital services, improving the safety, health, and well-being of Newcastle’s most vulnerable.
