Festive spirit was alive and well this week as nib Newcastle Knights NRL players continued one of the Club’s most cherished community traditions, visiting long-time partner John Hunter Children’s Hospital. 🎄
With the holiday season fast approaching, the visit was all about spreading smiles and lifting spirits for children and families spending Christmas in hospital.
From ward to ward, players shared laughs, chatted with young patients and their loved ones, signed autographs and posed for photos — creating special moments to brighten an otherwise challenging time.
A few small gifts added an extra dose of Christmas magic, bringing joy to kids who won’t be celebrating the festive season at home.
For the Knights playing group, the annual visit is a powerful reminder of the Club’s deep connection to its community and the resilience of the families they meet. Making someone smile — even just for a moment — is what this tradition is all about. Read More.
