Creating Safe and Welcoming Spaces
The Wests Group, through its ClubGRANTs program, is honoured to support Jenny’s Place with a $30,000 donation.
Jenny’s Place, a vital domestic violence support service in Newcastle, operates two crisis accommodation refuges and has a third under construction.
Clients typically stay 14-18 weeks before transitioning to longer-term housing. Our contribution will help Jenny’s Place update bedroom furniture in their existing refuges, improving comfort and security for women and children escaping violence.
Domestic and family violence is unfortunately on the rise in our region, making the services provided by Jenny’s Place more critical than ever. We hope that this donation will enhance the safe and welcoming environment that Jenny’s Place offers, giving mothers and children the peace and comfort they need to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives.
We are grateful for the opportunity to support such a vital cause in our community
