The Wests Group ClubGRANTS program has allocated $82,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities for the upgrade and refurbishment of accommodation units at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital site. This generous investment has helped to provide a comfortable, supportive and safe environment for families from all areas of Northern NSW, while their children are receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House service provides a "home away from home" for families, ensuring they remain connected and supported during what can be an incredibly challenging time. The newly refurbished units have been designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families, helping to ease the burden of what can be an emotionally and financially stressful experience.
