Keeping Families Close
The Wests Group ClubGRANTS program has allocated $82,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities for the upgrade and refurbishment of accommodation units at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital site. This generous investment has helped to provide a comfortable, supportive and safe environment for families from all areas of Northern NSW, while their children are receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House service provides a "home away from home" for families, ensuring they remain connected and supported during what can be an incredibly challenging time. The newly refurbished units have been designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families, helping to ease the burden of what can be an emotionally and financially stressful experience.
The Wests Group's investment in Ronald McDonald House Charities reflects their commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the community. By providing a safe and supportive environment for families, the Foundation is helping to ease the burden of illness and ensure families have the support they need during a difficult time.
