The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is an Australian Government statutory agency charged with promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces. They also support employers to remove barriers to the full and equal participation of women in the workforce, and promote the elimination of discrimination on the basis of gender.
In addition, the WGEA is responsible for administering the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth). The Wests Group Australia are required to submit an annual report to the agency each year.
