Keeping Families Together

Ronald McDonald House Charities, Northern NSW

Through our ClubGRANTs program, Wests Group is proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW with a $20,000 donation, helping families stay close to their seriously ill children at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

This funding supports two vital spaces at the hospital: the J1 Family Bathroom, a private facility used by over 10,000 people each year, providing families with a clean, welcoming place to refresh and recharge; and the NICU Family Kitchen, which helps more than 6,500 people each year in the neonatal intensive care unit by offering free access to snacks and drinks, reducing financial stress and creating a space for connection and comfort.

Every $1 invested in these initiatives generates $3.60 in social and economic value, reinforcing our commitment to supporting families during difficult times. We are honoured to contribute to projects that provide relief, care, and a sense of home when families need it most.
